We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Johannesburg (Hybrid).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to ensure the efficient processing and storage of large datasets. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data solutions, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. You will play a key role in optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and implementing best practices for scalability and performance in a dynamic environment.

• Predictive modeling
  :
  Design, build, and optimize models to detect patterns and anticipate outcomes in enterprise data.
• Graph analytics
  :
  Apply graph-based methods to uncover relationships and dependencies across large-scale, interconnected datasets.
• Knowledge graphs
  :
  Enable AI/GenAI use cases by developing and leveraging knowledge graph architectures.
• Feature engineering
  :
  Drive the creation of robust features to enhance downstream models and improve predictive accuracy.
• Model lifecycle management
  :
  Own the end-to-end process of model development, from data preparation and training to performance optimization and deployment.
• Cloud-native platforms
  :
  Implement scalable solutions within enterprise cloud environments, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong expertise in Python and modern machine learning frameworks
• Proven experience with graph analytics and knowledge graph applications.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Track record of delivering production-ready models in enterprise environments.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions
