Key purpose:

As a Data Migration Consultant, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to extract data from legacy systems. You'll work with teams in the company to understand their current business processes and requirements, then use these to design a solution that extracts data from legacy systems. You should have experience in either developing applications using Microsoft technologies or building relational databases on SQL Server.

Experience with either is preferred but not required.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Data Mapping and Migration of the Customer Master in D365 F&O
• Must have worked with the Customer Master in F&O as well as have experience with working with the Customer Experience (CE) Module in D365, as this is the source of the Trading Customer details interfaced to F&O
• Understanding SSIS packages as well as the D365 DMF (Data Migration Framework) with Batch handling
• Manage, facilitate, and drive the extraction criteria, data cleansing, object mapping, field mapping and value mapping for the ETL process
• Manage, facilitate, and drive the filling in of the templates by the Business for the Construct process
• Facilitate Issue resolution where there are load errors (Defects logged in Dev Ops)
• Status reporting per functional area as and when needed
• Engage with business resources per stream to resolve data queries

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
• 8 years of experience in an F&O commercial environment.
• Data migration experience with access to data sources and systems is preferred
• Experience with data migration and/or the creation of database environments preferred
