Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of their cutting-edge interactive products. Based in the dynamic hub of Sandton , you will lead a team of designers, architecting intuitive and engaging user interfaces that drive player satisfaction and retention. Working in a hybrid model, you will collaborate closely with product managers, artists, and developers to create seamless and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences.
This is a key role for a design leader passionate about crafting user-centric solutions.
- Lead the UI/UX design process from concept to implementation, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for user interfaces across various platforms.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and market analysis to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define user needs and design solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, fostering a strong design culture.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design , with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX design projects, particularly in the interactive entertainment or digital product space.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles , interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
