Information Security Analyst; Threat Intelligence

Our client is seeking a specialized Information Security Analyst with a focus on Threat Intelligence to join their team in Sandton . This role is crucial for identifying, analyzing, and reporting on current and emerging cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will leverage various data sources to provide actionable intelligence that informs defensive strategies and enhances security posture. • Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from various sources (open-source, commercial feeds, internal data).
• Identify and track threat actors, campaigns, and their Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
• Develop threat profiles and provide timely alerts on significant security threats.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security operations, incident response, and risk management processes.
• Produce detailed threat intelligence reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand the organization's threat landscape and defensive capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in threat intelligence, security analysis, or a related cybersecurity field.
• Strong understanding of the threat landscape, malware analysis, and attack vectors .
• Proficiency in utilizing threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
