Junior Project Manager

Our client, a leading IT solutions provider with a strong presence in Sandton , Gauteng, is seeking an ambitious and organized Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in IT or business who are eager to develop their project management skills in a corporate setting. You will support senior project managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

This position offers direct exposure to project life cycles, client interactions, and team coordination, providing a solid foundation for a career in project management. The role requires you to be on-site in our Sandton office, facilitating close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.

• Assist senior project managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Coordinate project team members and facilitate communication.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with budget management and cost tracking.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Support client communication and manage expectations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Some experience or strong interest in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Sandton , Gauteng.
