Our client is seeking a seasoned and visionary Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead their comprehensive operations based in Sandton . This crucial hybrid role involves overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and inventory management to warehousing and final delivery. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall service levels across the organization.
This position offers a significant leadership opportunity to drive operational excellence and strategic growth within a complex and dynamic business environment.
- Develop and execute integrated supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics and supply chain professionals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners.
- Implement and utilize technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility and performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chain operations and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Expertise in supply chain software, including ERP and WMS systems.
- Ability to effectively manage in both an office and remote capacity.
