Supply Chain Planner

Our client is seeking a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Planner to join their team, operating with a hybrid work model based out of Sandton. This role is responsible for optimizing the entire supply chain, from sourcing to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will work closely with various departments to forecast demand, manage inventory, and streamline logistics processes to support business growth in the competitive Gauteng market.

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
• Plan and optimize inventory levels across the supply chain to meet service level targets while minimizing costs.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless flow of goods.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
• Analyze supply chain performance data and recommend improvements.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners.

• Proven experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or a related role within Logistics & Warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects in a hybrid work environment.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
