About the Role
Our client is seeking dedicated and meticulous Aircraft Cabin Cleaners to join their essential services team in Sandton. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within aircraft cabins between flights. Your work directly impacts passenger comfort and safety, requiring efficiency, thoroughness, and attention to detail. You will work as part of a team, often on tight schedules, to prepare aircraft for incoming passengers, contributing to a positive travel experience and upholding the airline's reputation for quality service and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors, including vacuuming carpets, cleaning lavatories, and wiping down surfaces.
- Ensure galleys are cleaned, restocked, and organized according to airline standards.
- Dispose of waste and rubbish properly, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Clean and polish cabin fixtures, seats, overhead bins, and windows to a high standard.
- Restock cabin supplies such as blankets, pillows, magazines, and safety cards.
- Report any damages, defects, or missing items found within the cabin to the supervisor promptly.
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or a related service role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness under time pressure.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as required by flight schedules.
