Aircraft Interior Specialist

Our client, a leader in aviation services, is seeking a skilled Aircraft Interior Specialist to enhance and maintain the cabin interiors of their aircraft fleet based in Sandton . This role is crucial for ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and the overall aesthetic appeal of the aircraft cabins. You will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment, and installation of aircraft interior components, including seats, carpeting, sidewalls, and galleys.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent craftsmanship, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of aircraft interior materials and regulations.

• Perform repairs and refurbishment of aircraft seats, upholstery, and soft furnishings.
• Install, repair, and maintain cabin interior components such as galleys, lavatories, overhead bins, and sidewall panels.
• Work with various materials including leather, fabric, plastics, and composites to achieve high-quality finishes.
• Ensure all work complies with aviation safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with design teams and project managers on cabin interior upgrades and modifications.

• Proven experience as an Aircraft Interior Technician , upholsterer, or a related role in the aviation industry.
• Proficiency in working with aircraft interior materials such as leather, fabric, and composite panels.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for interior components.
• Understanding of cabin safety regulations and material certification requirements.
