Production Line Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Line Lead to oversee a specific production line at their facility in Sandton . This hands-on leadership role involves guiding a team of operators, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent team management skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of your line, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for your team, contributing directly to the company’s manufacturing output.

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of production line operators.
• Ensure the production line meets daily output, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Monitor the performance of the production line, identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
• Train new operators on line procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and other line leads to ensure smooth overall plant operations.

• Previous experience as a Production Line Lead or in a supervisory role on a manufacturing line.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control measures.
