About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Cabin Interior Specialist to join their team in Sandton . This role involves the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft cabin interiors, ensuring a high standard of comfort, safety, and aesthetics for passengers. You will work with a variety of materials, including fabrics, plastics, composites, and metals, to execute repairs and modifications.

• Perform repairs and refurbishment of aircraft cabin components such as seats, galleys, lavatories, overhead bins, and sidewalls.
• Fabricate, trim, and install interior cabin furnishings using various materials.
• Conduct inspections of cabin interiors to identify wear, damage, or potential safety hazards.
• Ensure all work complies with aviation regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams on cabin upgrade projects.

• Proven experience in upholstery, carpentry, composite repair, or a related trade.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft cabin interior maintenance or refurbishment.
• Proficiency in working with aircraft cabin materials (fabrics, plastics, composites).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
