About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer focused on Productivity Improvement to join their team in Sandton . This role is essential for analyzing current operational processes, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency, and implementing strategies to boost productivity across various departments. You will work on-site, collaborating closely with operational staff and management to drive tangible improvements in output, quality, and resource utilization.

- Analyze operational workflows, production lines, and work methods to identify inefficiencies and areas for productivity gains.
- Develop and implement strategies and solutions to improve output, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
- Utilise time and motion studies , data analysis, and process mapping to quantify improvements.
- Collaborate with department managers and frontline staff to ensure effective implementation and adoption of new processes.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support enhanced productivity.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering or productivity improvement role.
- Proven experience with methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance data.
- Proficiency in relevant software for data analysis and process documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective on-site collaboration.
