Are you ready to take on a pivotal role that drives supplier standards and enhances operational excellence? Our client, a well-established organization committed to rigorous supplier management, is seeking a dedicated Supplier Accreditation Specialist to lead essential accreditation processes on a 6-month contract.
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Assess the risk associated with sourcing plans within the accreditation strategy.
Achieve and maintain an accredited bidders list.
Participate in accreditation assessments for potential suppliers and approve assessment reports.
Maintain and optimise systems, processes, and work instructions related to supplier accreditation.
Conduct annual reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Measure and track accreditation and deselection processes, analysing benefits and bottom-line impacts.
Monitor cycle times and ensure the accuracy of the accreditation register.
Document all accreditation processes and perform sample evaluations.
Ensure accreditation validity and oversee supplier screening in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Align accreditation initiatives with broader supplier management strategies such as supplier development and performance management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years' relevant experience in supplier accreditation, supplier quality, supplier management, procurement, or supply chain.
Experience assessing supplier compliance against legislation, standards, codes, and organisational requirements.
Strong understanding of supplier risk assessment, supplier evaluation, and accreditation processes.
Experience reviewing supplier applications, preparing accreditation reports, and making recommendations for approval.
Ability to develop, maintain, and continuously improve supplier accreditation systems, processes, and work instructions.
Experience measuring supplier performance, accreditation cycle times, and process effectiveness.
Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
