About the Role
Our client is looking for a driven and customer-focused Retail Sales Specialist to join their premier store in Sandton . This role is centered on providing an exceptional shopping experience, understanding customer needs, and expertly guiding them towards the perfect products. You will be responsible for achieving individual and store sales targets through persuasive selling techniques and in-depth product knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service within a high-end retail environment in Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities- Engage customers proactively, building rapport and identifying their specific needs and preferences.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on product features, benefits, and suitability.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products, promotions, and store policies.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system .
- Ensure the sales floor is well-maintained, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Proven track record in retail sales, with a focus on customer engagement and achieving sales goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Strong product knowledge acquisition skills and the ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic inventory procedures.
