Sales Consultant

Sandton. Retail hours.An exciting opportunity exists for a driven, dynamic and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join a leading retailer of premium beds and mattresses.

Based at the showroom, you will assist walk-in customers while also managing sales and customer relationships remotely via email, Whats App and telephone
.

The role also offers the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with interior decorators, designers, hotels and hospitality groups
, providing tailored sleep solutions for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales approach
, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and the confidence to identify and develop new business opportunities. You should be equally comfortable engaging with customers face-to-face and building rapport digitally with clients who may never visit the showroom.

Requirements:

• Previous retail or showroom sales experience
• Confident, energetic and customer-focused approach
• Strong communication, relationship-building and closing skills
• Positive attitude with a passion for exceptional customer service
• Comfortable working across email, Whats App and telephone

Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email, quotations, CRM / order management systems and general business software
