About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for their financial services division in Sandton . This role will focus on identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative business development strategies. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to expand the company's reach and solidify its position as a leader in the Gauteng financial hub.
This is a senior position offering significant autonomy and the chance to shape the future direction of business development.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry influencers.
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements and major client contracts.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business development strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of new business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales management, or strategic partnerships within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing significant business deals.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams is an advantage.
