Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Sports Partnership Manager to develop and nurture key partnerships that drive growth and visibility for their sports properties in Sandton . This role is central to expanding our reach and enhancing our offerings through collaborations with sponsors, sporting organizations, and related businesses. You will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic alliances that align with our business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a skilled negotiator with a strong network within the sports industry and a proven ability to build mutually beneficial relationships.
- Identify and prospect potential strategic partners, including sponsors, media, and other sports entities.
- Develop compelling partnership proposals and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage and cultivate existing partner relationships, ensuring satisfaction and exploring opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, events) to deliver on partnership commitments.
- Track partnership performance, measure ROI, and provide regular reports on partnership activities and outcomes.
- Represent the company at industry events and build brand presence within the sports ecosystem.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partnership management , business development, or sales within the sports industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Understanding of the sports market, sponsorship landscape, and relevant industry trends.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach to achieving business goals in Sandton .
