Zensar is looking for a Informatica Developer in Johannesburg - Work from office

We are seeking an experienced Informatica ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica Power Center/Cloud. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development, data warehousing concepts, and database technologies.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center / IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into data warehouse systems
• Analyze source systems and business requirements to create efficient ETL solutions
• Develop reusable transformations, mappings, workflows, and sessions
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ensure data quality
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot ETL failures and resolve production issues
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders
• Implement data integration standards, best practices, and governance
• Document ETL designs, mappings, and technical specifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Informatica Power Center / IICS
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, etc.)
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables, star schema, SCDs)
• Experience with ETL performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting (Shell scripting preferred)
• Familiarity with data profiling and data quality tools
• Experience in handling large datasets and complex transformations
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of Informatica Cloud (IICS), BDM, or IDQ
• Exposure to Azure
  Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, etc.)
• Understanding of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
• Experience in banking/financial services domain (if required)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Typically 5–8+ years of relevant ETL/Informatica experience.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Effective communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment

• Certification in Informatica or relevant data technologies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
