Absa is seeking a Lead UPF Application Developer to join the Switch Payments Engineering team in a high‑availability environment. The role focuses on designing, implementing and supporting UPF applications with BASE
24 EPS/Classic, ISO messaging and cloud‑based solutions.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in payments, strong Java/C#/C/C++, and experience with API‑led development, cloud platforms, and PCI‑DSS‑related considerations. COBOL knowledge is a plus.
