Senior Software Developer - FinTech

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing Fin Tech company, is seeking a talented Senior Software Developer to join their innovative team in Sandton . You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge financial technology solutions. • Design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend services and APIs for financial applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to establishing best practices within the engineering team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and experience with relevant frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
