Senior Java BPM Developer – IBM BAW​/Camunda

We are looking for a Senior Java BPM Developer with strong hands‑on experience in IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda to join a team responsible for developing, integrating and optimising business workflow solutions.

• Banking experience or finnacial services.
• 5+ years’ experience in software development
• 5+ years’ practical experience in business process analysis and automation
• Strong Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices experience
• Hands‑on experience with IBM BPM / IBM BAW or Camunda 7/8
• Strong experience with BPMN 2.0, DMN and Camunda Modeler
• Experience modelling, deploying and supporting workflows
• Experience with external task workers, workflow orchestration and incident handling
• Experience integrating workflows with custom UIs
• Practical experience with Kafka / Confluent and event‑driven integrations
• Experience with Git and CI/CD
  , preferably Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with functional and performance testing
• Understanding of data‑driven decision automation and AI‑enabled workflow optimisation
• Strong solution design and troubleshooting capabilities

• Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field
• Kafka / Confluent certification – required/preferred

• Develop and configure complex software and workflow solutions
• Design and deploy scalable, maintainable and fault‑tolerant components
• Integrate BPM/workflow solutions with APIs, microservices and event‑streaming platforms
• Troubleshoot workflow, integration and software issues
• Develop and execute unit and system testing
• Support deployments, monitoring and production environments
• Identify opportunities for business process automation and optimisation
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other developers
