Our client is seeking a talented and experienced AI/ML Platform Developer to join their engineering division in Sandton . This hybrid role focuses on building and maintaining the robust platforms and tools that empower data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop, train, and deploy AI models  will play a key role in enhancing our AI development ecosystem, ensuring it is efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.

The ideal candidate is proficient in software development, familiar with MLOps principles, and passionate about enabling cutting-edge AI innovation through superior engineering.

• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable AI/ML platforms and infrastructure.
• Build and optimize tools and services for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
• Integrate best practices for MLOps, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and version control for ML artifacts.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand their requirements and provide robust solutions.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of the AI/ML platform.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software development, with a focus on building platforms or infrastructure for AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with MLOps principles, ML frameworks, and data engineering concepts.
