About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Mobile Developer (iOS) to guide their mobile development efforts in Sandton . You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of high-quality iOS applications. This role involves not only hands-on coding but also providing technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional mobile experiences.

- Lead the development lifecycle of iOS applications from concept to launch and ongoing maintenance.
- Architect robust, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications using best practices.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Swift or Objective-C code.
- Mentor and guide a team of iOS developers, providing technical direction and code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define features and user experience.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and proactively address potential issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in iOS mobile application development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Expertise in Swift programming language and the iOS SDK.
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, VIPER) and memory management.
- Experience with integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
