About the Role

Our client seeks a highly analytical and strategic Senior Transportation Planner to join their dynamic team in Sandton. • Develop and execute long-term transportation strategies and operational plans to meet business objectives.
• Analyze transportation data, identify trends, and forecast future needs to optimize fleet utilization and routing.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to design and implement efficient supply chain and logistics solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and industry best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches to improve transportation efficiency and sustainability.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in data analysis, modeling, and route optimization software.
• Strong understanding of global and local South African transport markets and regulations.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, demonstrating strong remote collaboration and on-site leadership in Sandton.
