We have a Warehouse Clerk role based at the Airport for our JHB Airfreight Branch
Education- Matric
- 1 years working experience in logistics (airfreight) environment
- Basic product specific freight handling and storage requirements
- Loss control principles – basic
- Risk management principles – basic
- Relevant sections of OHSA Act regulations
- Verbal Communication
- Written Communication
- Logical thinking
- Planning & organising
- Situation analysis & problem solving
- Judgment and decisiveness
- Analytical, Initiative and proactive
- Computer Literate (MS office, Shipshape)
- Customer service orientation - able to handle a demanding customer environment.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Dynamic self-starter that works independently and has the ability to handle pressure.
- Ability to communicate within the team and contribute to the overall success of the team.
- Control the receipt, handling, dispatch of freight
- Process freight movement documentation
- Health and Safety
- Comply with the requirements of the quality management system.
