ESG Associate

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company is seeking an ESG Associate to join its team. The ESG Associate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s ESG data program, extracting and transforming data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and utilizing data analytics tools and techniques to analyze ESG data and operational processes. The ESG Associate will also identify opportunities for automation throughout ESG, continuously assess and recommend improvements to ESG processes based on data analysis and technology advancements, and create visually engaging and informative dashboards and reports to present findings.

Qualifications

• No prior ESG or audit experience is necessary, as training and guidance will be provided during the internship.
• Candidates must be highly motivated and able to work professionally with and without supervision.
• Candidates should preferably be studying sustainability, business analytics, accounting, or information technology (or a major related to the Key Responsibilities above).
• Candidates should have competency in use of cloud-based applications and ideally be skilled in use of Windows Office (Microsoft Excel as primary).
• Excellent communication skills are a plus, as you’ll interact with managers on a regular daily basis.
• Auditors should be willing to work approximately 40 hours per week over 5 days.
• Candidates should be in their junior year or above at this point and have a G.P.A. of 3.00 or higher.
