Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Erie County, Ohio

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our dental providers to deliver exceptional care, providing preventive dental services, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and helping to manage overall dental health in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing.
  • Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Educate patients on the importance of good oral hygiene, preventative care, and their treatment plans.
  • Document patient dental histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Ensure the sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area to meet OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with patients, fostering trust and promoting ongoing dental health care.
Qualifications:
  • Current RDH licensure in the state of Ohio (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for providing care to underserved populations and a commitment to community health.
