Location:

This position is 100% in office. The employee will work their scheduled work hours in a designated Wes Banco location. Consideration for location will be Sandusky Banking Center.

Responsibilities (Essential Functions and Duties)
  • Provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions.
  • Serve as CSR and provide support for the banking center's sales and operational objectives as assigned.
  • Respond proactively to the Banking Center's needs and recognize opportunities for support across customer service and sales platforms.
  • Operate in alignment with Bank policies, procedures, and security measures.
  • Maintain awareness of and work toward daily sales goals for loans, deposits, partner referrals, and profitability.
  • Promote the Bank's products and services to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Communicate and collaborate with branch staff to promote a team environment and meet goals.
  • Initiate sales promotions and outbound calling activities to meet banking center goals.
  • Educate customers on financial wellness and uncover opportunities to advance relationships.
  • Support day-to-day operations including customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash control, inventory, and compliance requirements.
  • Attend regular sales and staff meetings; provide high-quality service and resolution of problems/issues.
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners and maintain sound judgment following established guidelines.
  • Protect sensitive information and maintain security controls; uphold confidentiality.
  • Assist with operational duties as needed and cross-train with the team.
Qualifications
  • Required: High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service experience.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook 365 and banking software; strong product knowledge for bank products; ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong communication skills (verbal and written); ability to learn and interpret a variety of instructions.
  • Compliance: Banking is highly regulated; must complete assigned compliance training and maintain proficiency in policies and procedures; willingness to register with NMLS (S.A.F.E. Act requirements).
  • Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Other: Excellent organizational skills, multi-tasking ability, and flexibility; ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound/outreach and internal development.
