- Position:
Reception/Clerical Support Specialist – Full Time, Entry Level. - Location:
Fremont, OH. - Pay Range: $50,000–$55,000.
- Provide clerical services under the supervision of the Site Director, such as answering and triaging phone calls, gathering data, coordinating clinician schedules and patient appointments, and managing patient flow at check‑in, check‑out, and in the waiting room.
- Support direct service staff and management with clerical duties relevant to patient care, ensuring clinician time is devoted primarily to patient care.
- Maintain professional use of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and related software.
- Promote patient engagement by conveying a welcoming, non‑judgmental, positive demeanor, and keep patients informed of delays.
- Perform revenue‑support tasks: timely accurate documentation of patient demographics and insurance information.
- Manage clerical duties (letters, referrals, faxes, etc.) on behalf of clinicians.
- Engage in cross‑training to sustain front office operations in the absence of staff.
- Assist with filing/scanning of client materials, preparation of QA and other reports, and ensure files are correctly scanned into the EMR.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
- Positive representation of the Medical Center, handling sensitive inquiries.
- Organizational skills: file alphabetically and numerically.
