Lantern Government Solutions is seeking caring and reliable PRN
Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) for an opportunity at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, OH
. Apply your caregiving skills and knowledge to support the residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.

The CNA will provide direct patient care including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition assistance, and emotional support. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment committed to quality care for Ohio's veterans.

Your daily responsibilities may include:

• Provide assistance with personal care including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and services provided.
• Support emotional and psychological needs of residents and families.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the resident environment.
• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and follow direction from the Charge Nurse.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and overall quality of life.
• Attend required in-service education and training programs.

Work Schedule:

• 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Required to work at least 32 hours per month to maintain active PRN status.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid State-Tested Nursing Assistant Certification in Ohio (or compact).
• Current CPR certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
