Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquet Server
. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions according to Resort standards.

, guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

• Perform preparatory tasks and side‑work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Know how to read the banquet event orders (BEOs) and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
• Serve guests according to resort standard in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Clean up banquet space after the completion of the function and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored and restocked properly.

• 1 year of experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred.
• Prior experience as a server and set‑up houseperson is preferred.
• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front‑of‑the‑house operations, is preferred.
• To have the ability to work with clients, management and associates in a professional, friendly and courteous manner is critical.
• Must be flexible to work long hours including weekends and holidays.
