Banquets Event CoordinatorKalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Banquets Event Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and successful operation, setup, and completion of all scheduled functions and the proper upkeep of convention, meeting, and banquet facilities and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.

—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll enhance the guest and associate experience by ensuring exceptional service delivery through effective team leadership, prompt issue resolution, and a welcoming environment.
Starting Rate: $19.00 an Hour
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for administration work including hiring, scheduling, cleaning sheets, note‑taking, and other administrative items as they arise.
- Responsible for the smooth and successful operation, setup, and completion of all scheduled functions and the proper upkeep of convention, meeting, and banquet facilities and equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must be able to read, write, and fluently speak English. Bilingual skills are helpful. Skills in oral/written communication and listening are required.
- Previous hospitality or related experience helpful.
- Computer experience required.
- To have the ability to work with clients, management, and associates is critical.
- General knowledge of the practices and procedures of a convention center, hotel conference services, and/or banquet department.
