Human Resources Assistant - Hiring & Training

Work at Cedar Point Amusement Park. Salary: $15/hour
. The role supports pre‑boarding and onboarding processes, administers training programs, and assists with staffing needs across the park.

• Collaborate with leadership to understand staffing needs and positions across the park.
• Conduct interviews via phone and in‑person, and make hiring decisions or recommend seasonal candidates.
• Manage requisitions from sourcing through fulfillment.
• Support onboarding operations by reviewing I‑9 documentation and onboarding paperwork for accuracy.
• Attend on‑site and off‑site recruitment events to attract talent.
• Provide an excellent candidate experience and position Cedar Point as the Employer of Choice.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures while conducting business professionally.
• Assist associates during onboarding, orientation, and training, including LMS and digital training support.
• Schedule and administer training facilities, including upkeep, supplies, and general maintenance.
• Demonstrate strong computer skills.

• Passion for helping others and supporting guests and associates.
• Good judgment and commitment to safety.
• No prior HR experience required; entry‑level position.
• Ability to work with and interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Enthusiasm for Cedar Point and its culture.
• Availability for weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong computer skills.
