As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a seasoned Long Term Care Planning Attorney licensed in the State of Ohio to join us.

This leadership role involves overseeing the Long-Term Care team, meeting directly with clients, reviewing legal documents, and crafting innovative strategies to meet each client’s unique goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in elder law, Medicaid planning, and asset protection, along with a passion for client advocacy and team development.

• Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Long-Term Care Planning team, including planners, care coordinators, paralegals, and legal assistants.
• Ensure departmental alignment with our firm's values.

• Conduct initial consultations and ongoing meetings with clients and their families to assess needs and goals.
• Develop and implement comprehensive Care Plans, including Medicaid qualification strategies, asset protection, and care coordination.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, resolving client concerns promptly and professionally.

• Review and approve all legal documents related to long-term care planning, including Powers of Attorney, Wills, Trusts, and Irrevocable Trusts.
• Supervise the preparation and submission of benefit entitlement applications (e.g., Medical Assistance), and manage appeals as necessary.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensuring accuracy and excellence in all client files.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators, paralegals, and other professionals to deliver holistic solutions.

• Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and client experience.
• Monitor departmental performance and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Experience practicing estate planning and/or elder law.
• Strong understanding of Ohio estate planning and elder laws.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Ability to close high-value sales.

$70,000 - $105,000 yearly
