Non-Powered Conveyor Assembler - 1st Shift

Location: Sandusky, OH
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Local Company is seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Non-Powered Conveyor Assemblers on 1st shift. This position is responsible for assembling conveyor systems and components according to engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble non-powered conveyor systems, frames, rollers, supports, and related components
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies accurately
• Verify finished products meet quality and engineering standards
• Install conveyor components and hardware according to specifications
• Perform inspections and identify any assembly defects or issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures
• Assist with additional production and assembly tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, automotive, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a plus
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic math and measurement skills required

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks in a production environment

Work Environment:

Industrial manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, moderate noise levels, and varying temperatures. Required PPE, including steel-toe footwear, must be worn at all times.
