• Under physician direction, the RN delivers patient care through assessment, education, and planning, maintaining professional nursing standards and evidence‑based practice.
• Functional application of the nursing process and clinic policies.
• Perform selected nursing duties: history & physical, vital signs, injections, immunizations, assistance with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self‑care related to disease and medication management.
• Interpret medical testing and medication per policy; complete physical assessments and order labs as allowed by protocol.
• Document all interventions, tests, medications, and related health information in the medical record.
• Relay pertinent information to providers, highlighting critical values.
• Assist in developing and expanding clinic services.
• Recommend and refer patients to other Firelands resources such as mental health, cardiac/pulmonary rehab, sleep lab, and financial aid.

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program and current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification and maintenance of certification.
• Knowledgeable in the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Successful completion of a 90‑day probationary period.
