RN, Registered Nurse ER: PT 7p-7a at Firelands Health

• Implements the nursing process with patients, carries out physician orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments and nursing plans directed toward a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for Firelands Health.

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Prefer at least 1 year of experience.
• Current PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.

• Retention Bonus: $5,000
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 day shift, 1:4 night shift
