Position Overview

This position is for a General Manager in Training. Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Applicants must be 18 years or older.

  • If you do not have previous General Manager experience, please consider applying for the Department Manager, Shift Leader, Maintenance, or Crew position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the experience:
    Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including profit, food production, scheduling, guest experience, and direct crew and manager responsibilities.
  • Plan for success:
    Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, coaching, and motivating.
  • Be in the know:
    Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs.
  • Take action first:
    Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence.
  • Inspire and empower:
    Maintain a high level of standard for guest and employee safety.
  • Be results oriented:
    Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence.
