Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Join our meat team as a Meat Cutter. You’ll help with the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for members. Your attention to detail and steady hand will contribute to a quality product and a positive shopping experience. You’ll be on the front lines of customer service, and your smile can make the difference between a good and a great shopping experience.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepares meat products according to established standards; cuts boneless meat products; maintains product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to support production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains work area according to company policies and procedures; ensures quality and date control standards; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Acts as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follows the Open Door Policy.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; seeks opportunities for improvement and adapts to change.

• Team collaboration and flexibility to support the business needs.
• Operate floor and backroom tasks with emphasis on safety and quality; food safety standards; sanitation; and inventory management; cut, wrap, and present meat products per standards.
• Utilize digital tools to support sales and customer experience; engage with members to answer questions and assist with purchases.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready area; ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of products.
• Exercise commitment to operational excellence and open communication with the team and management.
