• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Reporting monthly accounts to the board.
• Work closely with the commercial team to allocate project costing, update and report monthly.
• Work closely with other departments using centralised financial data.
• Create scenarios, forecasts and models to help management make informed business decisions.
• Update weekly and monthly cash flows.
• Act as a key finance member while also working closely with the MD & other departments.
• Maintain a commercially astute outlook whilst being able to maintain the finance function.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines each month for reporting purposes.
• Excellent people skills and ability to create good relationships with the whole business as well as the finance team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be a crucial cog between finance and all other departments to help present and report accurate information so the business can make informed decisions.
• Ensure weekly and monthly reporting deadlines are hit.
• Provide guidance to management and give constructive feedback from a financial perspective.

• A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent education in accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to various stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
