Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN with an active MA license and AHA BLS certification for an inpatient rehab position utilizing Epic charting.
Responsibilities

• Work in the SCC Nursing unit at a rehabilitation hospital setting

• Shift is from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM

• Utilizes Epic charting system

• Responsible for interpreting medical plans, assessing patients, and providing individualized nursing care

• Administers medications and monitors patient reactions or side effects

• Modifies and evaluates patient treatment plans based on patient response and conditions

• Collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate care

• Compliance with all facility policies and standards is expected

• RTO must be documented at the time of consideration

• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility; local pay rate applies if within this radius

• No pending licenses will be accepted for consideration

• Parking is not validated; candidates should be prepared for public transportation or paid parking options
Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts required at the time of consideration; MA conditional licenses not accepted

• AHA BLS certification required; other forms of BLS not accepted for this position

• Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination series and seasonal flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Experience in a rehab or inpatient setting preferred

• Must provide two professional references
