Now Hiring: Counter / Inside Sales Associate
Location: Sandwich, MA
Compensation: $21 - $26 hourly DOE
Schedule: Full Time M-F 7:00 - 3:30
Snow and Jones, Inc. is a premier plumbing and heating wholesale distributor. Since 1952 we have been a family‑owned business providing the South Shore and Cape Cod with exceptional products and customer service. We currently have an opening for a full‑time Counter Sales Associate at our Sandwich location. This branch is a two‑person store so the associate works closely with the manager to accomplish day‑to‑day tasks.
Job duties include:
- Work with customers to write up their orders accurately and provide additional/upsell sales.
- Provide best customer service and grow business relationships.
- Continue education and growth to provide customers with technical product knowledge and assistance.
- Work with Branch Manager and Outside Sales to identify new customers with growth potential.
- Pull customer orders and ensure accuracy.
- Work with warehouse associates and branch manager to maintain daily inventory demands.
- Put away stock/products as needed.
- Use proper systems to ensure product is located properly.
- Assist in pulling sold orders and deliveries to ensure accuracy.
- Efficiently manage time to complete tasks at hand.
- Maintain and grow relationships with Manufacturer Representatives to develop sales support for product lines and customer needs.
- Keep branch and counters clean and organized.
- Report any safety or branch concerns to Branch Manager.
- Prior sales experience, plumbing/HVAC preferred but mechanical skills translate well.
- Willingness and ability to learn new industry products.
- Positive attitude and desire to grow relationships with customers.
- Ability to multitask and organize.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Position is Monday‑Friday 7:00AM‑3:30PM with a half hour lunch break. Position pays hourly and benefits include personal (sick) and vacation time, health and dental insurance, 401k with company match, and more.
Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
