School Operations Manager, Alpha - $75,000/year USD
Base pay range: $37.50/hr - $37.50/hr
LOCATION
NOTE:
This is an in‑person role based at one of our campuses.
If you're someone who excels at driving results rather than waiting for direction, this role is designed for you. This is a compelling opportunity to become part of one of Alpha's most recently launched campuses and leave a lasting impact from the very beginning. You won't simply join an existing team—you'll actively contribute to shaping campus culture, establishing operational excellence, and advancing as the campus expands.
Alpha is not interested in preserving traditional educational models. We are creating something fundamentally better for students and their families. We need someone who can assume complete ownership of both the family enrollment experience and the day‑to‑day operations that ensure our campus functions effectively.
This is not a conventional admissions position. You won't be confined to a desk sending templated correspondence or buried under administrative tasks. You'll conduct meaningful family tours, establish trust with prospective parents, and shepherd them through a smooth, individualized admissions process. Simultaneously, you'll guarantee our campus remains safe, compliant, and consistently prepared to receive students and families with assurance.
Alpha is a K–12 private school that transforms how children are educated. We employ adaptive applications and skilled Guides to provide personalized, mastery‑based learning that equips students for real life, not merely standardized assessments. In this position, you'll serve as the frontline representative of that mission, bringing it to life for every family who enters our facility.
If you're prepared to accelerate your growth while contributing to work that matters, we're eager to connect with you.
What You Will Be Doing- Conducting personalized, high‑conversion family tours that communicate Alpha's three core commitments and build confidence in our educational approach.
- Executing and managing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the enrollment pipeline.
- Implementing strict safety and safeguarding procedures to maintain a demonstrably secure environment for students and families.
- Managing comprehensive facilities operations, including preventative maintenance scheduling, vendor management, and repair coordination.
- Regularly reviewing data to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.
- Being limited to one narrow, repetitive administrative function or isolated department.
- Operating under inflexible, hierarchical micromanagement that restricts your autonomy.
- Dealing with bureaucratic obstacles that hinder substantive progress.
- Concentrating solely on documentation, removed from direct engagement with students and families.
