Field Pharmacy Technician (Healthcare)

Specialty Rx is a Long‑Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long‑term care facilities and assisted living communities. Specialty Rx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

• Work independently under the direction of a supervisor
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff
• Utilize reporting applications (my Qlink, Omni Center)
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (quantity and expiration date)
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
• Replace potentially expiring inventory
• Restock depleted inventory
• Monthly audits (cycle count)
• Provide reports for the facility
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

• Must be local to Sandy Springs, Georgia area
• Licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician required
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one‑year experience in long‑term care preferred)
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and data entry preferred
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and troubleshoot ADS problems
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Ability to physically perform light lifting
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Willing to drive long distances in the State of Georgia

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
