Service Advisor with dealership experience

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our fast-paced environment at Johnson RV. It’s more than just a Service Advisor; we need an outstanding communicator with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a sense of ownership of the customer experience.

The successful candidate will be comfortable greeting customers, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Must be sales-minded, as it is part of the role. This position involves managing a volume of workflow, multitasking, and shifting priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet service department customers promptly and courteously
• Listen to each customer and clearly articulate needs to technicians
• Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs
• Follow up on repair status and inform customers efficiently
• Work with manufacturers and file claims timely
• Notify customers when RV/trailer is ready for pickup
• Review and explain repairs and costs with customers
• Handle minor customer concerns and complaints
• Keep Service Manager informed of issues or potential problems
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores according to dealership standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior service advisor experience is a plus
• Experience with warranty claims submission is a plus
• Dispatching and customer service experience is a plus
• Proven ability to achieve profitability and growth
• Ability to set and meet goals
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Results-driven and self-motivated
