Post Closing Specialist

Position Description

As a Post Closing Specialist at Arrive Home, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless transition of mortgage loans from closing to post-closing, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of Arrive Home. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and managing loan documentation, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Success Criteria:

Success in this position entails maintaining an organized and accurate post-closing process, reducing errors, and ensuring timely delivery of closed loan files to investors. Responsibilities:

• Review closed loan packages to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Verify physical collateral, such as property documents, and ensure they align with loan documentation.
• Organize collateral both physically and electronically for easy access and retrieval.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in loan documentation, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
• Perform data entry and record keeping for all post-closing activities.
• Collaborate with loan processors and underwriters to address any outstanding conditions or deficiencies.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of investor guidelines and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of loan files to investors, government agencies, or other stakeholders.
• Monitor and track outstanding post-closing issues, taking necessary actions for resolution.
• Assist in audits and quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in mortgage loan post-closing, with a strong understanding of mortgage loan documents and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in post-closing activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to compliance.
