Vice President of Finance and Accounting

We are looking for a strategic finance leader to oversee accounting and financial operations for a growing organization in Round Rock, Texas. This executive will guide reporting, planning, analytics, and compliance efforts while partnering closely with senior leadership to support business performance and long-term decision-making. The position also plays a key role in strengthening cross-functional visibility through improved metrics, systems, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the full scope of finance, accounting, treasury, and enterprise risk activities to support sound financial management across the business.
• Oversee accurate project-based accounting, financial forecasting, and organizational reporting, ensuring leaders have timely insight into performance trends.
• Produce monthly financial statements, analytical summaries, and board-ready reporting materials for executives and external stakeholders.
• Build and manage the annual budgeting process along with periodic reforecasts to align financial plans with operational goals.
• Partner with operations, sales, and HR leaders to deliver financial analysis on pricing, incentives, benefits-related costs, and other business decisions.
• Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and data analytics capabilities that improve visibility into key performance indicators across departments.
• Direct relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal partners, insurance brokers while reviewing filings, audit activity, and coverage strategies.
• Maintain compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and executive-level recommendations.
• Drive the optimization of organizational systems and processes to improve coordination between finance, operations, sales, and HR, while mentoring and developing a high-performing finance and accounting team.
