How you make a differenceThe Licensed Psychological Associate, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, will deliver comprehensive mental health services to patients within correctional and detention facilities. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing therapy, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual needs. This role requires collaboration with facility staff to ensure effective care and support for patients in a correctional setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and consultation services in line with company policies and standards of the APA, NCCHC, and ACA, including diagnosis, treatment, psychological testing, evaluations, treatment planning, counseling, and crisis management under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist.
- Ensure that clinical services adhere to ethical and professional standards, and participate in case staffing, care management meetings, and quality improvement activities.
- Complete clinical documentation professionally and promptly, maintaining departmental statistics, and develop goals and objectives for clinical services in consultation with supervisors.
- Deliver staff training on mental health issues and may assist in the development and refinement of facility policies and procedures to meet recognized standards.
- Participate in a 24‑hour crisis intervention system, promptly notify the supervising Psychologist of serious incidents, and provide timely updates on clinical concerns impacting clients or the mental health services program.
- Master’s degree in psychology.
- Experience with mental health delivery systems; knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of psychological disorders and psychological evaluation techniques, including assessment instruments.
- Licensed as a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) or Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP) in the state of Kentucky.
• This position offers a $9,000 sign‑on bonus.
• This is a full‑time, day‑shift position.
