Senior Cloud Dev Ops Engineer – NiCE

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Dev Ops Automation Engineer to join our distributed team.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Leverage AWS services to design and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Automate configuration management and application deployment with Puppet, Ansible, and Helm.
- Write and maintain Power Shell and Python scripts for automation tasks.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions with Cloud Watch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure health and performance.
- Collaborate closely with development, project, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
- Apply industry security standards and best practices to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes are compliant.
- 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops and cloud automation.
- 3+ years of professional Python development.
- Extensive experience in ECS, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services and best practices for cloud architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Helm.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or engineering background.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are highly desirable.
- Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with major scripting languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; customer‑service focus is essential.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams in high‑pressure environments.
