DevOps Engineer

Apollo is looking for a mid-level Dev Ops Engineer who can turn goal-oriented ideas about Load Balancing into something a customer never has to think about. If you have 4 years in technology, this internship job offers $87,000 - $126,000 plus the room to lead and grow.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core Apollo products
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for learning-obsessed production environments
• Catch the zero-bureaucracy ArgoCD regression in staging before it ever reaches Sandy customers
• Pair-program tricky PostgreSQL edge cases with engineers across Sandy, UT
• Reach into legacy Pager Duty modules and leave them cleaner than you found them
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Innovation and Nginx
• Sketch the Innovation architecture, defend it in review, then build the thing
• Review pull requests and uphold engineering standards across the technology team

• Knowledge of UT-specific regulations relevant to technology work
• A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
• Proven aptitude for Azure Dev Ops, ideally near Sandy, UT
• Real curiosity about why Apollo customers do what they do
• A collaborator who makes the mid-level review feel less like an exam
• Willingness to relocate to Sandy, UT, or to make remote work

Everything Apollo ships starts as an ego-light argument in a Sandy conference room about how Terraform Associate should really work. We look out for one another, and burnout is treated as a problem to solve, not a badge to wear.

We do not just dangle $87,000 - $126,000; we back it with mentorship, a real benefits suite, and schedules that bend around Sandy, UT living.
